Oak Canyon Nature Center

I keep meaning to suggest we go back here to Don, but lately our own backyard seems to provide enough wildlife and exercise (gardening--not walking). These images are from June 4th. But not of this year, of 2005.

This baby bird is very little.

How little? Well, good luck looking for him/her in the photo below. S/he's Thumbalina size.

No the ivy and the thistle are not one and the same plant, but they sure look cool together.

Oh look down there (little dot middle of path)! A Roadrunner!
