Don and I went to Running Springs today. We had wood delivered and Don wanted to get it into a place where it'd be less likley to warp until he can work with it. Meanwhile, I fed blue jays and photographed the approach of Fall.
I've heard that too. I once saw a couple team up to harass a cat, but maybe they had a nest nearby. From what I have observed on the mountain I think the squirrels wait for the blue jays to vacate the premises before they venture forth to investigate treats.

Blue jays are beautiful *looking* birds, but I've always heard that they had pretty nasty, aggressive, temperments.
